About You
This isn't a traditional reporting or dashboard-focused analytics role.
We're looking for someone who combines strong predictive analytics capability with a consulting and business partnering mindset. You'll enjoy working closely with stakeholders, understanding the real business problem, challenging assumptions and using data to influence better decisions.
You'll bring:
- Experience in predictive analytics, data science, forecasting, machine learning or statistical modelling
- Strong Python and SQL capability
- Strong stakeholder engagement, consulting and influencing skills
- The ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear business recommendations
- Commercial thinking and a practical approach to problem solving
- Experience working with modern analytics and cloud platforms
Databricks experience is highly advantageous. Insurance experience is helpful, but not essential where you bring the required technical capability and consulting mindset.
What You'll Be Doing
This is an opportunity to work on meaningful business problems, partner directly with decision-makers and help shape how predictive analytics is applied across Guild.
You'll:
- Partner with business leaders to solve complex operational and strategic challenges using predictive analytics and data science
- Develop predictive models and forecasting solutions that influence real business decisions
- Support claims forecasting and workforce planning initiatives that directly impact operational performance
- Uncover insights from claims, customer and business data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Present recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders, helping drive better outcomes across the organisation
- Contribute to Guild's growing investment in analytics, machine learning and AI
This role offers the chance to work on high-impact projects, influence senior stakeholders and play a key role in expanding the use of analytics across the business.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive remuneration package plus a hybrid working arrangement, providing flexibility for staff to balance work and life by operating from both the office and home. Together, these initiatives are designed to promote both professional achievement and personal wellbeing.
