About you

  • Experience managing commercial property claims within a general insurance environment
  • End-to-end claims management experience, including coverage assessment, decision-making and settlement
  • Strong policy interpretation skills and confidence managing complex claims and stakeholders
  • Able to negotiate outcomes, manage escalations and deliver strong customer outcomes
  • Candidates with significant residential property claims experience may also be considered
  • Self-sufficient, organised and comfortable working autonomously

 

What you'll be doing

  • Own a portfolio of commercial property claims from lodgement through to settlement, with genuine accountability for outcomes
  • Tackle complex and varied claims, applying your judgement to make sound coverage and claim decisions
  • Partner with brokers, assessors, builders, repairers and customers to drive claims forward and deliver great outcomes
  • Use your technical expertise to investigate, problem solve and develop strategies that balance customer and commercial considerations
  • Take ownership of escalated matters, confidently navigating challenges and driving practical resolutions
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and become a key point of contact throughout the claims journey
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team where your ideas, experience and development are valued
