Your New Role
Acerta is the intermediary division for Guild Insurance, we are excited to seek a strategic minded National Distribution Leader, to lead our distribution strategy alongside our Head of Acerta. As a boutique Insurer, we pride ourselves on personalised broker relationships with our select partners, supported by our digital focus and technical underwriting within our product suite. The role requires a sophisticated approach to account management and strong profile across key intermediary networks to ensure Acerta remains competitive and commercially successful.
What you will be doing
Leadership
- Represent Acerta and Guild with a visible credible presence across the intermediary market
- Support the Head of Acerta to deliver national distribution strategy and executive broker engagement
- Provide market insights and commercial recommendations that support portfolio outcomes
Broker and relationship management
- Build influential broker relationships through a sophisticated account management approach
- Maintain the Broker Management Framework to drive performance and commercial value
Distribution and growth
- Lead positioning of the Landlords portfolio and identify national growth opportunities
- Support new business submissions and renewals with Underwriters
- Grow Professional Indemnity through targeted broker engagement
Strategic partnerships
- Maintain trusted relationships with authorised representative network head offices
- Support national agreements that deliver commercial return
- Capability and collaboration
- Provide broker insights to support better strategic decisions
- Contribute to product and sales training and to consistent broker experience
What you will bring and skills and experience
- Strong and recognised market presence with well-established broker networks
- Sophisticated commercial mindset with proven capability in account management revenue generation and value aligned partnerships
- Leadership experience with the ability to coach motivate and uplift capability
- Experience in a financial services leadership role supported by sound judgement strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High computer literacy strong interpersonal skills and commitment to continuous improvement
- Relevant qualifications including RG146 Tier 2 General Insurance with Certificate IV General Insurance and undergraduate studies desirable
