The Opportunity
We’re seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our WA Workers Compensation team. Reporting to the Underwritten States Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for managing claims and injuries with a focus on safe and sustainable return-to-work outcomes. You’ll provide exceptional service and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, working with clients across childcare centres, pharmacies, veterinary practices, and allied health industries.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process claims and payments in line with scheduled fees and awards
  • Manage injury cases and approve payments
  • Assess liability for new and ongoing claims, issuing relevant notices and correspondence
  • Coordinate return-to-work plans, medical examinations, and investigations
  • Refer claimants to rehabilitation services
  • Respond to general queries and support regional office activities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in Workers Compensation forums and attend case conferences

 

About You

  • Proven experience in WA Workers Compensation claims management
  • Solid understanding of general insurance claims processes
  • Strong client-first mindset with a commitment to stakeholder satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Guidewire experience is a plus)
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive environment
