The Role
The Project Manager role will be accountable for managing the end-to-end delivery of strategic and operational project. Reporting to the Program Manager – Business Initiatives, this is hands on role where you’ll work as part of various working groups and steering committees along with your project team colleagues.
- Manage and deliver multiple concurrent projects successfully, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Build strong working relationships and lead cross-functional project groups to foster collaboration and productivity.
- Prepare and present clear, project progress reports and business cases for steering committees and governance forums, tailoring your communication for each relevant audience.
- Support change management activities alongside the change manager, including stakeholder analysis, communication plans, training, and business transition support.
- Identify, document, and manage project risks and issues proactively to minimize surprises and ensure smooth & calm project delivery.
- You’ll serve as a role model by upholding company values, culture, and standards while supporting business leaders in driving change initiative – this is as important as your PM skills!
About You
- You bring hands-on experience managing full project lifecycles, guiding initiatives from concept through to post-implementation review.
- Please note, this is a business/functional PM role (not purely technology-focused), where your experience driving projects that boost revenue, enhance customer service, reduce costs, or ensure regulatory compliance is essential. Experience in general insurance is a strong advantage.
- You’re confident working in both agile and waterfall environments, adapting your approach to meet project needs.
- Resilience, resourcefulness, and strong communication are core strengths you use to plan effectively and build solid relationships.
- You have a proven track record of delivering projects that span business and technology change, ensuring smooth transitions.
- You bring a growth mindset to the challenges presented and a ‘can do’ attitude.
