To support the delivery of Guild’s company strategy our finance team partners with the 6 businesses in Guild Group. As Senior Finance Analyst you will be integral to the team in providing technical accounting support, balance sheet control, statutory accounts and cash flow management. In this great 12-month contract opportunity you will relied on to provide high quality insights and analytics to support decision making. You will build relationships and be regularly in touch with the broader team- outside of Finance as you work with our Regional Managers, auditors and others at executive level.
Your days will be varied and will include:
- Assisting the Finance Manager – Insurance to provide high quality reporting and support to the our Commercial Direct and Acerta
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly profit and loss.
- Assisting leadership teams manage FTE and operating cost effectively through high quality insights.
- Assisting with the Forecast and Budget processes.
- Assisting with completion of Board & Executive Papers.
- Assisting with monthly preparation of premium and claims insights for insurance businesses
- Supporting year end statutory account preparation
You are an energetic accounting professional with an eye for making improvements to better support your stakeholders. You learn quickly and want to make a difference through the work that you do.
You have experience in the insurance industry as a commercial accountant, exposed to both business-as-usual and project-focussed work. You can create professional and productive relationships with your colleagues across all levels of the business and your communication skills mean that you can articulately provide commercial insights to a diverse audience.
You have sound Excel capabilities and are well-versed in current accounting software packages. You will have completed a Bachelor of Commerce/ Accounting degree and are either already CA/CPA qualified or working towards this.
