Where you could be

Guild Insurance Plus is a newly set up brokerage as part of the Guild Group offering. This new offering allows us an opportunity to act as advocates for our clients, finding them the optimum solution for their insurance needs.

This newly set up team with will work as a Corporate Authorised Representative of our partner, a leading nationwide brokerage, to provide insurance solutions for our clients’ insurance needs, including commercial and personal insurances.

To deliver this, we have a passionate team to provide the best experience and service to our customers. This team has been a journey of growth, transitioning the current Group’s personal lines portfolio and are new venturing into new opportunities in the commercial insurance space.

This is where you, as our new Account Executive will come in.

What you could be doing

Your core focus is to service your own portfolio of clients across both commercial and personal lines. If you were in the role already, you might expect your week to look like this:

  • As we’re transitioning our existing clients into our broker desk, we are all hands on deck so you’re working alongside another Account Executive and our Head of Broker Desk on the front-line, fielding calls and queries from our clients regarding their policies.
  • You’re resolving your client queries through providing quotes, certificates of currencies and managing their claims experience. You may have needed to organise an emergency repair as you’re lodging a claim with our client’s insurance provider on behalf of our client.
  • With renewal deadlines in mind, you’re delivering renewal strategies across your portfolio in consultation with our Head of Broker Desk.
  • With our training, you’ve mastered our internal systems such as Sunrise and Winbeat, so you’ve been on top of keeping the information in these systems accurate and up to date

About you

You could be an early career Broking Assistant or an Internal Broker wanting to broaden your insurance career and ready to take the next step.

From your broking experience, you understand how the broking industry works. With this market knowledge, you’ve also had exposure to commercial insurance products such as business packs and commercial property.

You’re proactive in seeking opportunities where you can support your team and will come with a positive, can-do attitude. With your thirst for knowledge, you’re ready to learn from experienced and supportive team members. Proficient with using technology, you can work independently but are also proactive in reaching out to your colleagues if you need assistance or if you see opportunities to improve our processes.

RG146 Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification is essential to this role, but we can support you in this if you don’t yet have this.
