Your New Role
At Guild Insurance, we're looking for a customer-focused professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and join our Casualty Claims team. Whether you're currently working in claims, customer service, recoveries, settlements or insurance operations, this is an opportunity to develop expertise in a highly specialised area of the industry.
Casualty Claims is a niche field focused on managing liability claims and helping customers navigate complex situations with confidence and care. It's a space where strong communication, sound judgement and relationship-building skills are highly valued, and where long-term career opportunities exist for those looking to grow.
What you'll be doing
As a Casualty Claims Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for many claims and play an important role in delivering positive customer outcomes. You'll:
- Manage incoming claims enquiries and lodgements
- Support customers through the claims process with empathy and professionalism
- Manage a portfolio of straightforward casualty claims and work toward fair, commercial outcomes
- Assess liability and claim information with support from experienced team members
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, customers and industry partners
- Build your knowledge of casualty claims through ongoing coaching, training and development
What we're looking for
We're less focused on finding an experienced Casualty Claims professional and more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and potential.
You'll bring:
- Experience in customer service, claims, recoveries, settlements or a related role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to think commercially and solve problems
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and develop in a new specialty area
- A genuine passion for helping customers
Why join us?
This role has been designed as a genuine career pathway into Casualty Claims. You'll work alongside experienced specialists, receive structured development opportunities and gain exposure to an area of insurance that is both challenging and highly rewarding.
As our Casualty team continues to grow, this position offers the opportunity to develop your expertise, expand your responsibilities and build a long-term career within a niche insurance discipline.
What We Offer
- Hybrid working: 2 days in-office, 3 days remote
- Exclusive staff discounts with leading retailers
- Employee Assistance Program with innovative wellbeing support
- Health & wellbeing initiatives to help you thrive
