Your New Role
As a Customer Care Specialist, you’ll be the trusted first point of contact for our customers and association members. You’ll deliver exceptional service while providing expert guidance across business insurance products, ensuring every interaction is professional, compliant and customer‑focused.
You’ll:
- Provide first‑point resolution for customer enquiries across business insurance products
- Manage policy maintenance and underwriting tasks within delegated authority
- Identify new business, cross‑sell and upsell opportunities to support sales targets
- Investigate, resolve or escalate customer complaints in line with company policy
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the General Insurance Code of Practice
- Contribute positively to team performance, quality standards and continuous improvement
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across underwriting, claims and operations teams
About You
You’re customer‑centric, commercially minded and enjoy working in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment. You have experience in insurance or financial services and are looking to deepen your career in business insurance.
You’re known for your:
- Proven customer‑first mindset and strong relationship‑building skills
- Confidence communicating clearly and professionally with a diverse customer base
- Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and care
- Commercial awareness and attention to quality and compliance
- Initiative, teamwork and ability to work autonomously when required
Experience in business insurance or professional indemnity is highly regarded, along with familiarity with policy administration systems and MS Office tools.
