Rate: $50 per hour including superannuation

Way of Working: Hybrid role with 2 days in office and 3 days from home

The Role…

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, the Accounts Receivable Officer will be accountable for delivering exceptional receivable and credit control support within Finance to achieve business goals. This is a short-term contract role for 4-months during our peak period for Workers Compensation.

Key Responsibilities…

  • Process Workers Compensation refunds via EFT/Credit Card
  • Process Workers Compensation wage audit collections
  • Perform broker receipting for Acerta and reconciliations
  • Investigate unallocated monies received
  • Receipt Commercial Direct payments
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders via email and phone
  • Handle customer enquiries via mail and phone
  • Perform data entry and processing for Accounts Receivable
  • Undertake miscellaneous tasks as allocated by the Leader

Ideal Candidate…

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a high level of attention to detail and exceptional computer literacy, including intermediate Excel skills. With proven experience in the Financial Services or Insurance sector, they possess strong customer relationship skills and a professional telephone manner, ensuring effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. With excellent time management and organisational abilities, they handle multiple tasks efficiently and are committed to continuous improvement. Their well-developed problem-solving skills, combined with solid mathematical abilities, enable them to address challenges effectively.
