WA Workers Compensation Case Manager
Full-time Permanent | Hybrid Role

The Role:
Reporting to the Underwritten States Team Leader, the Case Manager will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients, accurate and timely information on Workers Compensation claims processing and administration, complying with legislation. You will play a key role in managing claims and injuries efficiently, focusing on enabling a safe and sustainable return to work for injured workers. You’ll be working on behalf of childcare centres, pharmacies, vets and allied health industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process claims and payments, ensuring compliance with scheduled fees and awards
- Undertake requirements for injury management and review/approve payments
- Determine liability on new and continuing claims, issue notices/correspondence to employers and injured workers
- Liaise with stakeholders on return-to-work procedures, organise medical examinations and investigations
- Refer claimants to rehabilitation services
- Handle general queries, support regional office activities, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in Workers' Compensation meetings and forums, attend rehabilitation or medical case conferences
About You:
- Experience in a similar claims role within the WA Workers Compensation industry
- Good knowledge of general insurance claims
- Dedicated to meeting stakeholder expectations with a "client-first" approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (experience with Guidewire is an advantage)
- A team player who thrives in a supportive and collaborative environment
