Are you a vet nurse seeking to diversify your experience? Are your curious about pet insurance?
Do you have a passion for providing great customer service and want to use your vet nursing experience to support customers outside of a vet practice?
Do you want to work in hybrid environment where you have access to great office facilities and the ability to work from home too?
Your new company
Here at Guild Insurance, we’re excited to share the growth opportunities that our pet insurance product, Vets Choice, has given us.
Guild Insurance is Australia’s leading provider of insurance solutions for allied healthcare professionals. For more than 50 years, we’ve been providing exceptional products and services and unparalleled customer experiences, driven by a genuine care for our clients’ professional and financial well-being. We pride ourselves for our future focus, recently being recognised for a third year in a row by the AFR BOSS Most Innovative Awards.
At the heart of what we do is being there for those our communities rely on and we’re looking forward to connecting with more people through our pet insurance product.
On top of pet insurance, our comprehensive product suite includes professional indemnity, public liability, workers compensation as well as business, home & contents and car insurance. We are Australian owned with offices nationally, so our customers benefit from our local knowledge and presence.
Your new role
Our customers will look to you to provide exceptional customer service and support during their time of need. You will be managing a portfolio of technical pet insurance claims and setting customer expectations about how their claim will be managed and set strategies for each claim based on their complexity and our claims processes.
In professionally managing your own portfolio of claims, you will be proactive, customer-centric while keeping a financial focus. You will maintain our claims guidelines and service standards.
Your team will look to you to provide additional support when needed such as training and/or assisting with workload. More broadly, you will help maintain collaborative relationships not just within your immediate team but with other internal stakeholder groups across the business.
You are known for your customer focus and attention to detail. You manage your professional relationships well and have strong organisation skills.
You can work independently but can collaborate and communicate with your other team members, comfortable in asking for assistance if needed.
Experience in a pet insurance role or a similar Claims role within the general insurance industry will be highly regarded and exposure working within a veterinary clinic will be advantageous.
We pride ourselves on having an inclusive and productive workplace where we treat our people and our clients with fairness, dignity and respect.
