Your new role
As our Group Solutions Architect, you will work closely with stakeholders, business analysts and product owners, leading the design and creation of solutions across a wide range of initiatives that are vital to ensure the Guild Group achieves its business goals. Think mobile app, moving into the cloud, automated end to end customer digital experience.
You will assist Product Owners and Business Stakeholders in clarifying their business needs and communicating these to IT.
You will consult on where and how technology-based solutions can assist, challenging business leaders to obtain the best technology solutions to fit with the overall IT and Guild business strategy.
Additionally, you will construct solution designs and review cost estimates and implementation plans spanning all systems, 3rd parties and staff involved. You will also partner closely with enterprise architecture to establish an architectural runway. Finally, you will backstop the Technology Solutions and Architecture Lead and assist in governing architecture for the Group.
Organisational Structure and Key Relationships
Seated within the architecture practice, you will work for the Technology Solutions and Architecture Lead, alongside the Application Architects and Business Intelligence Architect. You will work hand in glove with the Business Analysts and Business Stakeholders, the engineering and development teams, and partners where required.
With at least 2 years of experience as a solutions architect, you are outcomes-focused, well known for your ability to manage competing tasks and with a great sense of humor! You will have a strong customer focus, come armed with a resilient, can-do attitude and a bucket-load of positive energy. You’re not afraid to highlight issues and challenges but you also bring opportunities to the table to problem-solve.
You have sound insight into current and upcoming technology including Digital channels, User experience, Integration, Reporting and Analytics, BPM, Document and Workflow Management, Security, Web and Mobile Apps, DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure, with expert competency in a handful of these domains. Insurance and Superannuation domain experience is a bonus.
You are forward thinking and solutions focused, taking a consultative approach in the way that you work giving you the gravitas to build credible relationships at all levels.
