The role 

• Direct customer-focused niche Insurer across multiple product lines. 

• Sydney-based, with a hybrid work environment. 

• Work closely with the NSW Acerta Underwriting team to drive intermediated strategy through selected brokers. Focus on new business production, renewals, and broker management. Provide support to ensure high-level service to partner brokers and foster profitable growth. 

• Already an Underwriter eager to broaden your skillset or someone with commercial insurance experience seeking to transition into an underwriting role. 

• Case Underwriting, adhere to underwriting standards, assist in debtor management, provide customer service support to brokers. 

• Implement processes and procedures, ensure underwriting files meet standards, participate in team projects. 

• Ensure compliance, prepare reports for stakeholders and committees. 

• Maintain accurate records of partner brokers, handle administrative duties related to policy acceptance, risk management, etc.
