Your new role
We are seeking two Finance Officers to join us for 12 months. In these high transactional volume roles within an agile environment, we will rely on you for the daily finance transactional operations of the Meridian finance team.
Your focus will be on ensuring Meridian ledgers are complete and accurate, processing centralised accounts receivables and billings and regularly reconciling bank and balance sheets. You will also assist with accounts receivables, month-end tasks and other work as required.
You will enjoy working with a team of finance professionals who work across Guild Group’s diverse businesses and will be dedicated to supporting Meridian’s financial operations.
Your high attention to detail and ability to communicate well will complement your experience as an accounting/ finance professional you will regularly be communicating with our broader Finance Team as well as the legal secretaries and Partners from Meridian. You have a solid understanding of accounting concepts, familiarity with financial systems and intermediate Excel skills. You will also either have a diploma in or are studying towards a Finance/ Accounting qualification.
It is a must that you have experience in a legal or professional services environment. You are familiar with and would be happy to be immersed in a heavily transactional role.
