On top of pet insurance, our comprehensive product suite includes professional indemnity, public liability, workers compensation as well as business, home & contents and car insurance. We are Australian-owned with offices nationally, so our customers benefit from our local knowledge and presence.
Your new role
The last few months have been an exciting time for our new pet insurance product. As we continue to grow in this space, we’re seeking energetic and proactive team members who can provide the best care to current and future customers.
In this permanent role reporting directly into the Customer Care Team Leader, you will deliver an exceptional customer experience in line with the company’s Value Proposition and meet individual targets.
You will be the first point of resolution for phone and web enquiries for pet insurance and will also be expected to support sales and enquiries for home and motor customers.
Our customers will look to you to clearly and concisely explain different levels of cover, product features and benefits using simple uncomplicated language and we will look to you to contribute to team sales and service targets by converting customer enquiries into sales.
You’ll investigate, resolve or escalate any customer complaints in line with our company policy in a timely manner. With your understanding of our underwriting guidelines, you may also be expected to apply these within your assigned delegated authority.
You will have some experience and exposure to one of or a combination of pet insurance, home, motor or other personal insurance in a sales or customer service role in the financial services/ insurance industries.
You will have a professional telephone manner and excellent customer care skills. You are known for your attention to detail, sales conversion, can-do attitude combined with your desire to help solve our customers’ queries and questions.
You are curious and proactive, open to expanding your knowledge and will enjoy the challenge of learning our comprehensive suite of products. You will thrive in a supportive environment where you will learn from your team leaders and teammates alike.
You will preferably have your RG146 Tier 2 qualification. It would also be advantageous to have FSI102 - General Insurance - Personal & General Advice and/ or Cert IV - General Insurance.
