Your new company
Guild Insurance is Australia’s leading provider of insurance solutions for allied healthcare professionals. For more than 50 years, we’ve been providing exceptional products and services and unparalleled customer experiences, driven by a genuine care for our clients’ professional and financial wellbeing. We pride ourselves for our future focus, recently being recognised for a third year in a row by the AFR BOSS Most Innovative Awards.
At the heart of what we do is being there for those our communities rely on.
Our comprehensive product suite includes professional indemnity, public liability, workers compensation as well as business, home & contents and car insurance. We are Australian owned with offices nationally, so our customers benefit from our local knowledge and presence.
Your new role
You will focus on the development and delivery of new business and retention product strategies across our Commercial Direct portfolio. As part of our Product & Underwriting team, you will use your experience, analytical and curious mind to support retention and growth while also being involved in complex underwriting activities.
You will build professional and supportive relationships with your team and with your colleagues across the business, collaborating with and seeking input from specialist functions when needed. You will also have strategic underwriting ownership of key markets, designing and implementing initiatives for specific products, markets and portfolios. In monitoring the performance of your key portfolio, you will contribute meaningful analysis that can be used for decision-making. Key stakeholders across the business will look to you for your advice.
You are an insurance professional with in-depth experience in the industry. You could come from a mid to large-sized corporate insurer with knowledge of and experience in professional indemnity, casualty, management liability and general business insurance.
You must have underwriting experience and could be a broker turned senior underwriter or vice versa. In particular, we are seeking your strong technical knowledge of professional indemnity.
You are known for your analytical skills, communication and ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation. You will also have your ANZIIF Tier 1 and 2 qualifications completed.
We pride ourselves on having an inclusive and productive workplace where we treat our people and our clients with fairness, dignity and respect.
