Your new role
In this 12-month contract role, you will be working closely with the NSW Acerta Underwriting team to drive the intermediated strategy through selected brokers, with a primary focus on the renewal portfolio. In addition, you will provide support and back-up to the team so that a high level of service can be maintained with partner brokers to develop profitable growth of the business.
You will be expected to adhere to all underwriting standards, policies and procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service to brokers, maintaining accurate records of partner brokers at all times.
You may assist in the preparation and monitoring of any reports or submissions, working closely with the NSW Manager and the rest of our Underwriting team. You will also undertake general administrative duties related to policy acceptance, risk management, pricing, terms and conditions for individual risks.
You would have completed your HSC or equivalent qualification with your ANZIIF qualifications completed or underway.
You will have at least a year’s experience as an Underwriter or Assistant Underwriter. It is essential that you have experience in liability and property products, in particular commercial and/or domestic property.
